With its reduced case diameter of 37 millimetres, the Portofino Automatic 37 has become a staple in IWC’s ladies’ watches portfolio, offering excellent wearing comfort on more slender wrists. The Portofino Automatic Moon Phase 37 features a stainless steel case, a silver-plated dial, and gold-plated hands and appliqués. On the dial, 12 diamonds mark the hours. For the IWC-manufactured 32800 calibre, IWC has integrated a moon phase module into a movement from the 32000 caliber family for the first time. The moon phase display at 12 o’clock works so precisely that it only deviated from the actual orbit of Earth’s satellite by one day after 122 years. A see-through sapphire glass back displays the movement, which has been finished with a gold-plated rotor and blued screws. This ladies’ watch is fitted with a blue strap made of fully traceable Swiss calf leather. The strap has a natural and soft finish and boasts a contemporary, luxurious feel. Thanks to the integrated quick-change system, the strap can be exchanged easily.
